If you search on benzowithdrawal, you will find hundreds if not thousands of people going thru benzodiazepine issues.

I suggest you call your doctor and have him or her come up with a withdrawal schedule which is reasonable. Expect to be quite uncomfortable.

People get physically dependent on benzodiazepines, regardless of why they are prescribed.

You can find forums and live support to get off, however, call your doctor soon, since withdrawal can be dangerous if not done properly.

Diazepam withdrawal causes a severe flu like syndrome, severe headaches, neck aches, all over burning, weight loss, nausea, vomitting. It is truly awful, and can be quite prolonged. However, if you can get off with the help of your doc, in time, your symptoms will disappear and you can resume normal life.
