my experience is it used to help but not anymore. most are ok but i have also been to some bad ones.
my big push now is prevention. for example the way i pick up a carton of milk. if i use both hands my thumb won't hurt. look for little changes like this which together can change your life.
chiros are different. some use different techniques than others. this makes it hard to choose a good one. the last one i went to never laid a hand on me, he just took a very good history and then offered me more of an osteopathic approach. i plan to go back and give him a try.
