only a rib is actually spinal surgery, never minor. some surgeons also do other procedures like a sympathectomy for example. sometimes the 2nd & 3rd opinion just look at the first guys opinion and agree without too much thought. especially if they golf together. have they done the test where they raise your arm and see if it turns blue?

ps the sympathectomy was bad news for many here.
