I can hypnotize myself and put myself into a quiet state. I'm not very good at it because I get myself into an anxious /scary place sometimes. That is why she is recommending that I do 5 minutes of kind of pre-hypnosis I think. The 5 minute practice would lead to the next kind of practice. I don't know when I'll see her again. My appt book is filled up. Plus she is out of pocket and a hassle to drive.

The person on the phone would have said thyroid.

I didn't make it to the office or lab. Hubby was on the phone for what seems like an hour and I got distracted because I was trying to straighten out my dr appts for the next month.
I was waiting for him to get off the phone and got sleepy and in a bad mood.

I wish we had another phone line.
For the first time in months I got on the phone to take care of stuff and got interrupted. . . . lost momentum.

So now I don't feel like making any more phone calls or taking care of anything. I'm going to bed -- last napped late last evening.


And I'm guessing it is a big enough deal that the internist wants to send me to a specialist, . . . . . but how do I fit in Dr visits next month?

I need to juggle people and post pone others but some can't be.

I wish we were not loosing office days with the holidays.

Her office confuses me. I was told that the last blood work was for cholesteral and blood sugar panels.
I did that a week ago.

But the phone call was talking about heart something and hormones something.
I asked for the results of the cholesterol and blood sugar panels and the phone person said that they were mostly fine. The phone person read some numbers over the phone and then I forgot them but the were mostly fine.

I have no idea how a hormone test got in there. The mdoc did not mention hormone test when I last saw her. She said cholesterol and blood sugar panels. So why are there results of a hormone test???
How can I keep track of stuff if I don't know what is going on.
Not happy. Overwhelmed.

This office is whacky. I was supposed to have an appt w/ the mdoc for TODAY, but when I called to confirm on Friday, they said no. (I even have the mdoc's card with the handwritten time in my wallet that says 2:45 today that was handed to me by office staff. !!??) The office phones are not available during their long lunch time. The phone black hole seems to be when I try to call. I tried to call again on Monday for an appt and my cell phone went dead (tried to call earlier from house phone / land line but it was during black hole period.

I need to let this go for now.
