I want to thank you in the first place because I think you have all been helpful to Filipe. We're all in the family undergoing a very bad phase as you can imagine and the worst of all is that I'm not sure yet about what is wrong with Filipe. This is the most frustrating because I don't know how to help him properly. Most doctors have diagnosed him with a severe depression. And, although I believe that might be the case, why have physical symptoms appeared before he had depression symptoms? He started to feel pain physically when he was quite healthy mentally, or at least so I've been led to believe then. He was happy with his life and doing sports everyday. That confuses me. But it's hard to believe he has neuropathic pain because his symptoms are much milder than those doctors or net sites describe. So right now my questions are:
1- Could he have NP and still have absolutely normal (very good in fact) blood tests as he has? What your blood tests like, those who have been diagnosed with this disease?
2- He gets well, or practically well when he takes a diazepam pill (he's taking 2 a day prescribed by one of his doctors). If he really had NP do you think a pill of that kind would help? Isn't it strange?
