I can get blurred vision from some restaurant food. Also some processed soups are culprits. I always thought it was the MSG in them.

Now that I found some Progresso soups and the new Campbell's Select...those are MSG free and very nice.

I remember once visiting my son at college and we went out to Chili's. Then to shop for clothes for him. Both of us had blurred vision that time, and also it came with severe thirst!

I'd keep a food diary, and see if you can find some food triggers.

And while we are on FOOD... chronic idiopathic PN can be due to Gluten intolerance, so looking at this information maybe helpful:
