Thank you Jenna. Talking to people like you prevents me from exercising the "nickname" for our condition.

I am seeing my GP on the 15th and he will refer me at that time to a neurologist but I am told it may be months before I see one.

It just seems strange that I do not exhibit typical TN symptoms:

- Wind on face = trigger
- Touching face = trigger (nothing I do physically to my face makes it better or worse -- only touching the tooth)
- Random shocks/volts to the face

I do not experience any of that anymore. Like I described in the previous story, my TN started out as a terrible weekend of my teeth feeling like they were compressing and were about to shatter.

My dentist did 5 shots and numbed it for then.

Ever since then basically the only real pain I have is when I touch/wiggle this tooth. When I don't either I feel 9/10 great or I feel slight pressure in the tooth.

I feel like some of the other 'sensations' I get from other teeth may be mental as I never truly get a big shock in any other teeth.

I truly feel like perhaps I am one of the "lucky" TN sufferers, if I do have TN. Most of the time, if I am distracted, I don't think about my TN. But like you, I AM VERY PARANOID ABOUT NIGHT COMING. I need my sleep like you and everyone else here.

I am 25, slightly overweight and married. My wife and I are wanting to have children and.... this is scary.

I live in rural Arkansas (though, in the largest city in the state -- it is still very rural!) and few around here know of this conditon.

Not to mention the only hospital in the state with a GK (only 10 minutes away!) no longer has a GK surgeon (how lucky of me... ::rolls eyes:

If there's any more details you would like that would help you determine more about my condition please ask away.
