I had the same thing when my TOS started.

Pulse would be high but pressure in normal and vice a versa. Was put on beta blockers but it still woould happen.

One night I was woken up by racing pulse and I got up and did my TOS exercises so that I stretched maybe where compression of vein was and it normalized in less than a minute. Doc thought it was compression of vein in the TOS are or something called the Vagus nerve.

Circulatory system is a closed system so pressure anywhere in the the system will affect it.

Freaked me out though so I understand. Has not happened since my surgery though.
