Smile Has anyone raised fava beans?

Hi first time I've seen this part of neurotalk...pretty cool! Has anyone raised fava beans? Our favas made it daown to 24 degrees and then got bit. I saw on some site that the plants will start to grow from the roots again when it warms up alittle. I just don't know wether to leave the slumped over plants there or cut them off some. I am leaning toward leaving the whole thing there...just in case the cold rain/snow would go down inside the stems and damage the root. Anyone have experience with this? Please write me a personal message. Thanks Aunt Bean
