Happy New Year, Everyone!

Earlier today I was at Fisherman's Wharf with my son and we each fed a herring to a seal by the pier. The seals were watching us as we stood with our umbrellas by the Fresh Fish Store and one kept flapping his front flippers together to get our attention. I bought smoked tuna and pickled herrings to take home and 3 freshly shucked oysters for my son. It was a nice little treat!

Afterwards I helped my son pick out a cologne and then we came home so he could get ready to go out tonight. He is going to a pot luck dinner and he was running short on time so I helped him bake a Spinach and Feta Loaf. Then I gave him a few pointers on ironing his shirt and pants. He looks very sharp!

I'm heading out to drive him to his friend's house and to pick up a couple of girls along the way. It was overcast earlier but I'll look up for that blue moon. It looked gorgeous last night!
