You aren't very old so powder would work for you. Powder for older people seem to cake up in the wrinkles and make them look older. I heard that on TV and I have noticed it's true for me so I stay away from the powders.

Also on the Avon, ask for samples. They will give you some to try the foundations out. I haven't found any Avon makeup that last or looks good. My Avon dealer says the same. It just seems to be missing something that works good. They also are buying cheaper stuff these days and their products aren't as good. I grew up with Avon and I do still buy from them occasionally. I ordered some watches for the kids for Christmas from Avon. Even their jewelry isn't made as good. I have several pieces that have broken in no time at all. My Avon lady says they are getting their clothes from a cheaper place also and the sizes aren't right and they don't look as good. I do have some Avon clothes here but I have sent many of them back due to them being cheapmade.

Back to the makeup though, ask for samples of it if you want to try it.
