What I remember from previous posts...
have many pillows handy for propping and comfort, a recliner to sleep in at times is handy, some easy meals & prepared meals in freezer, have as much cleaning/organizing /prep done ahead of time so you won't be temped to do things too soon.
Be very careful driving or riding in cars with other drivers , a few members were in car accidents not long after surgery - it set them back in their recovery and a possibility of more/new damage.
