I placed a reoccurring deposit on our check. It is direct deposited so we have $200 taken out at the first of each month and placed in savings. We haven't missed it so far and that surprises me. If I need it I can transfer it back to checking. We also stopped eating out so much and only eat take out on Fridays. Winter helps too since we don't do much in the winter. lol
