27 is not fine. It is just above the level to prevent rickets.

Normal is about 50 (40 to 60 ng/ml) and some say now 80 is preferable (if you want cancer prevention).

That poor range is similar to the B12 range in US. People are having terrible times with "normal" levels of 200 which are not normal at all. Other countries use 400 or 500 as the cut off for B12.

And for living in Florida is very low, in fact.

It is just a shame to go thru testing and get a poor interpretation of the result!
