I have done the ketamine infusions 3x's each at the Hosptial for Special Surgery I have also had many surgeries there the hospital is the best I have ever been in the care is tremendous. Yes, it is true that some doctor's in there pain dept. do not take WC but some do. I would look on the web site
www.hss.edu and just call each one there are only about 4 or 5 doctors in the dept. And I'll safe you a phone call, I know Dr. Richman does not take WC. He's excellant and was my doctor for a very long time but is funny about what type of insurance.

There is no one in Boston that is currently seeing NEW patients for ketamine treatments. The Beth Israel shut its doors to newbies during the spring of last year. I see a great doc at Caritas St. Elizabeth's in Boston - it's affiliated with Tufts. His name is Dr. Joseph Reyes. 617-789-3100. They accept all insurances. Reyes is a D.O., I just think they are different and care more about the patient and less about their egos. He gave me a referral to the B.I. for their ketamine program, but it was closed by the time I got there.
I did get accepted into a ketamine program in both NYC (probably the closest to New Enlgand, I think), and in southern New Jersey. In NYC they have ketamine at the Hospital for Special Surgery and St. Luke's/Roosevelt. The Hospital for Special Surgery won't take you if you are WC, but St. Luke's will.
I settled on Dr. Getson's ketamine program in Marlton, NJ. IMHO, he is really great, another D.O., very friendly and warm and reassuring. His written report that was provided to my attorney for my case (I'm WC) was extremely thorough and well done compared to what I have received from so many of the other medical professionals I've seen in the past. And, most importantly, he has tons of experience with ketamine and knows what he is doing. If the WC court approves my attorney's petition later this month, I will hopefully be able to start ketamine treatments with him sometime in Feb.
