That's really wonderful news to read, Chemar.
When my daughter's cat went through her crisis which was a little similar (caused by poisoning from eating tulip leaves) we thought her days were numbered sadly. However, she also made a good recovery and she never had any more seizures or eye problems or anything anymore.

It's almost without thinking that I've sent my animals to the vet for procedures in the past and never asked too many questions. I'll know to think more and ask more questions in the future.

A little off-topic, but on the subject of anaesthetics... I was watching a show on tv here earlier in the week about a genetic problem that some people can have which causes them to get a life threatening illness after having certain anaesthetics. Malignant Hyperthermia. The interesting thing was that they found the same gene and problem in pigs as well. Made me wonder at the time if cats can get this type of thing as well.
