Default Just Cautious

Nicky,

I just get concerned about pseudo science writing. Without looking at the specific book, I wanted to raise levels of awareness concerning science garbage, so I have no known knowledge of what is in the book. I am just wary. Dr. Kerr who wrote the forward has sound credentials. I will read the book now.

That said, I believe that a high degree of care should be used in reading any popular science books. That's all. By the way, one supplement used by the same person I mentioned in my post was OK. I researched and found out it was popular in Japan as a medically sanctioned item (mushrooms for nausea from chemo). It was, of course, low cost and widely available as opposed to the costly supplement I mentioned.
