Happy New Year to everyone. I havent posted for a while but I'm still around and doing well most of the time. I have a question regarding this odd thing that has happened to me twice now when I was dying my hair. I only use the stuff that washes out in 8 shampoos, no ammonia. I have read that some people have allergic reactions to chemicals in dye, but I did not show any signs of allergic reaction. I always get foils (which don't actually touch skin), but decided to try this rinse out hair dye and for the second time while using it I had a severe flair of nerve pain while dye was still on my hair. I did not have any signs of allergy,no redness or swelling. The pain was about an 8 and couldn't stop it. It started up after about 15 minutes of dye being on my hair. The pain was widespread but mostly concentrated to the head area.



Does anyone have any ideas of what could have happened?

Is there any hair colour that is actually safe to use?
