My Mom has had a scooter for five years and her insurance company is buying her a new one. It has only been ridden in her retirement community. So she is giving me the old one. I don't know what kind it is. It is the typical chair, not the one with the basket. I think I know from reading here that I shouldn't keep the battery on the floor. But what other things do I need to remember to keep it charged also that when I do need it that is will be usable? I'm not sure if it can be taken down so it is more easily transportable.
