If your laptop isnt plugged in, it will automatically go to sleep as a protection for its power supply. Keep it plugged in, and reset it so that the hard drive, and monitor only sleep after 3 hours.

Remember that not all of netflix movies can be viewed with the instant viewing. There are alot of movie that can be instant view, but also many that are not. The new movies that come out, mostly are disk only. Wander over to net flix and take a peek at which movie are "instant view" if you go to the top of the page, they have your Que. within that section is your instant que. inside there is a link that will lead you to instant view choices available.

If you could solve your PC going to sleep problem, would you still invest in the box? Would you rather invest in a BluRay box that allows Bluray movies, and instant streaming? Most boxes allow pandora, and youtube as well. You MUST see it on the box to know it is Netflix compatable. The new models are out, which means the old models are on sale! make sure the box it WiFi ready, not just capable. "ready" means it can already grab the signal from the computer with wireless" Capable means you will need to either drag a LAN cord or buy an extra adapter to make it see the wireless signal. That can be another $50 to $100 depending on which machine you want it for.
