The research mentioned is actually DHEA Sulfate. No comparison to DHA. The research was limited to brain injured rats, not yet studied in brain injured humans. They did not mention the difference between DHEA and DHEA S.

Also, since DHEA is not considered an experimental or dangerous drug, I wonder why they have not done any clinical studies with human subjects as has been done with progesterone?

DHEA-S sounds promising but its use after and far beyond seven days post injury would be a valuable study.
It always seems to happen when I take any sort of Omega 3 supplements. Usually it brings back really bad memory (outright forgetting important things), speech issues, and visual problems (things appear more "flat".)
