Oh sweetheart, my heart goes out to you....I know how you feel; afraid to go to sleep for fear of not waking up, feeling like you are going insane, being scared all of the time....it truly terrified me.
I think the recording is a HUGE thing - you do not need another thing to worry about - just set that up and it will be a huge weight lifted. I had the same system set up right after my surgery. Maybe LifeAlert? Something?
Do you have ANYONE who can come and help you? I've found that sleeping sitting UP helped my breathing quite a bit.
Don't worry about your house. Anyone who has a problem with dust bunnies when you are this sick can stick it!
You NEED to start focusing on YOU!
I don't mean to scare you, but it sounds like you are close to a crisis. I know. I've had 3.
As for the insurance BS - I don't even know what to say except I'm going through the same thing. I was billed $1,000 for a SINGLE lab draw...no, I'm not making this up - one lab draw.
Do you have any sick time saved up? Is there ANYONE who can stay with you? ANYONE? You NEED someone around 24/7. I know I'm stating the obvious, but we really don't realize how very weak we are until we start feeling better.
