When you start an exercise program, this can happen.

You over did the ligaments on the bottom of the foot.

You need to go more slowly, and stretch carefully before.

Try some soaking in epsom salts...that can help.

Plantar fasicitis can be misdiagnosed. Any pain in the foot can seem like it at times. Did you have X-rays taken? Sesamoid bone issues, can feel like fasicitis.

Elliptical machines are less impact, and easier for me and my feet than a treadmill. I also have cushioning in my shoes.
