Biofreeze is a disappearing gel and will not stain the brace if you wait 10 or 15 minutes before putting your foot in it.
i hadn't associated heat, thats a good point. i do have some biofreeze on hand and will give that a shot. this brace wasn't my first choice but it beat the one the ortho doc's office wanted to fit me with, cost wise that is. i have been looking for one that covers less of the foot, but i want to spread my costs out a bit before buying another one.
