Maybe it's the wrong brace for you and you should get one that is specially made for you. Just a thought. I know they are expensive. The one on the site you posted looks hot.
Also, try the Biofreeze sparingly. The bottoms of my feet can't stand it otherwise I love it for my lower back or if my calves ache.
