[what makes the shunts get to the point i've had sever pain for five days but i'm on house arrest so i don't know how to get to the doctor i've had mine for a year now and they have only donw the normal exrays and what not and a spinal tap then the famous spinal taps and lets tap the shunt them send ya home and you'll be fine i almost hate going to the er anymore its always the same things god bless your family i hope it gets better
