I agree with loretta. I did not get this from surgery but there is too much chance for spread that even a sugery that would be a must for health issues would make me fearful. I have a friend too who has nerve damage from plastic surgery and another who developed auto immune. Too much risk. If you decide to I would get your rsd treating docs involved and talk to them to get there feeling. Personally I would not do this or any elective surgery.
