I struggled with head aches when I was young (9-10 years old). I had 20/20 or even 20/15 vision but needed glasses so my brain could see the images in a more relaxed way.

Even now, my optometrist needs to prescribe a 'relaxed' or comfortable prescription. Most optometrists will not make the extra effort to find a comfortable prescription. The ones that do are worth the effort to find.

I am not suggesting that prism correction is the cure all. But it is worth looking into for those with recurring head aches.
