Default Neurosciene Tests - Adrecor and Travacor

i am new to the neurotalk community, but have found it helpful in my research of neuroscience tests. my MD just recommended that i take Adrecor, Travacor for my adrenal fatigue. i am also hypothyroid.

does anyone have any updates on successes or failures with neurscience that they can share. my naturpath does not reco neuroscience as she says their tests measure markers of neurotrasmitters in the urine and claim that it is a reflection of the action of these chemicals (serotonin, dopamine, acetylcholine, and a few others) in your brain, which is just not true or accurate.

according to her, neurotransmitters are big molecules and they don’t freely pass between the body and the brain (unless there is a compromised blood brain barrier), so measurements taken outside the brain are not reflective of what’s going on in the brain.

at the same time, my MD, who embraces integrated medicine, recommends them for me. i am totally confused and could use some insight.

thanks.
