And about those girls....they were thieves of your story, but not of your experience or your gifts. They will never feel the genuine appreciation that you do. They didn't get recognized by the band for their dedication and effort, you did. Remember that feeling when you were given the pick and the set list ? They will never have that. You will always have that.
