My PTist released me a couple of weeks ago because he said he felt like what I am dealing with now is the RSD pain and the Fibro pain. He says my neck issue is medical and he's taught me what to do at home to help with it.
I've had the same PTist for about 6 years and he is the best. To me some are smarter then Drs.

If you feel he hasn't done all he can do, see if you can find a different one to go to.
