Most of the time I can't hear the effect on my voice, its usually my mum that says your slurring your words.

When I was working a member of my team always said "are you getting a cold" it used to irritate me as although I had a diagnosis at that point I didn't know nasal sounding voice could be a symptom!

I did used to notice that I had to slow my speech down as my tongue didn't seem to be able to cope. I can stutter a bit also. I can also try and speak and nothing comes out or its really high pitched and squeaky!
