WIth sciatic pain it's important to do stretches daily. Keeping your hamstrings stretched will help, believe me. Also, when my ilia is out so far as to infringe the sciatic nerve, it causes swelling in the area that also exacerbates the pressure on the nerve. I recently (2 or 3 years ago) found that by taking toradol that the swelling is diminished and so is the sciatic pain. Good wishes!
