Hi! I will be asking my dentist in a couple of weeks, but wanted to see if I should be avoiding pregnancy until then. It doesn't make sense to me there should be concern, but one can never know, right?!

Dental implants are similar to other prosthetic implants that are made from titanium......like the knees, hips, etc. If your dental implants are integrated securely in the jawbone and there is no evidence of infection with any of them, then I would think there would be no contraindications during a pregnancy.

Have you discussed this with your dentist and physician?
