The kit came with two pretty large bags of seed. It's called "buck oats" and the grass it produces is kind of stiff. They did pull up a couple of sprigs of grass so I had to monitor them while they ate it.
They enjoyed it so much. I wanted to plant a patch of it outside so I could just go out and snip off the tops of the blades for them but ChemLawn sprays our lawn monthly and I'm afraid of the chemicals they use. I might just fix a tray and keep it in the garage.
