I really believe that a single approach/treatment isn't going to work for these types of things.
How is your posture overall?
head forward?
shoulders hunched or rolled forward, are they uneven?
quite a few of us have one side higher than the other.
Hyper mobile/loose disjointedness?
Ever been in a car accident/whiplash, sports hit or falls to upper body?
Sticky fascia? - info -Sharon Butlers RSI page or RSI book
any of these can play a part in acquiring RSI, TOS , chronic soft tissue injuries, Cumulative Trauma Disorders -called by many names , right or wrong. But hurting is hurting in my book.
We have a workers comp forum also, that you might find some good tips on for navigating that beast.
just scroll down the main topic page to find it-

I think in most wc cases like this they have to check the nerves & get at least one EMG/NCV done - it will help if it happens to show some nerve injury, but if it is mostly from TOS or pain from the sensory nerves you might get a negative test result.
Foe myself I did a
lot of self help stuff, found a really good chiropractor, luckily had some really good PTs and probably got out of the work place before being permanently messed up beyond the recovery stage.
