Default Seeing second neuro tomorrow

So an update and cliff notes:

October weird tooth pain starts. Not too bad. Last week of October it gets terrible, burning aching pain.

From Oct-mid Nov saw: 2 dentists, my GP. GP determined it was TN. Referral to neuro.

Visit with Neuro in Jan. He says because my pain is a constant dull ache with random episodes of higher intensity doesn't believe it's TN. Suspect ATFP. Suspects we can "burn" the ends of the nerve or shoot them with a long term anasteic.

Referred to second neuro for confirmation of diagnosis.

In the mean time I've been taking:

Carbamazepine (up to 1200mg, currently at 600mg)
Klonopin (1mg)
Xanax (0.5mg-2mg)

The carbamazepine is like the "base" nerve pain pill. It's what sets me up to not have terrible episodes though pain persists.

My Klonopin and Xanax work at night to actually kill the pain (it does!) and help me sleep (it does)

Klonopin has known neuropathic pain killing properties and xanax is a quicker acting cousin. The xanax is off-label so you might be able to get an Rx of it but Klonopin should be easy.

Anyone who has not tried Klonopin needs to
