Welcome to the forums doug,

Have you been checked by a doc? Just to be sure nothing more serious is go on.
How do you manage to have 3 concussions in 2 years?
sports, car accidents? rodeo bull riding - I hear they get many concussions.
I went off my horse at age 15 and was "out" for a couple minutes - never really had any problems until age 40 - and it showed up as damage in my c spine. Plus I learn later about the C1/C2 and how they can be knocked out of alignment- alters your whole body.

concussion Treatments

Rest is the best recovery technique.
Ice if there is external swelling or "goose egg".

[Some over-the-counter and prescription drugs may relieve headache pain, but talk to your doctor before taking any medications, especially aspirin. Aspirin may contribute to bleeding. Don't give aspirin to children because it may lead to serious problems, such as Reye's syndrome.

The signs and symptoms of a concussion can be subtle and may not appear immediately. Symptoms can last for days, weeks or longer.

Your behavior, mental ability and physical skills all are linked to specific areas of your brain. The severity and side effects of a head injury depend greatly on which area of your brain was most affected.]

[After your initial treatment, you will be referred for follow-up care to your primary care doctor or a specialist, such as a neurologist. It is important to keep these appointments, particularly because some of the more subtle problems of concussion (memory deficits, personality changes, and changes in cognition) may not be apparent at the time of the initial injury.]
