I guess I never figured out the exact differences of PT vs OT?
I mean shouldn't the focus of both be reducing pain and bettering the patients health?
I could see if someone had to rehab after an injury for a very physical type of job where strength and fitness is required.
Or OT should follow a successful course of PT.
To prepare a person for work as opposed to just reducing pain and healing.
PS - Sharon Butler has a suggestion of doing opposites-
if arms, back, neck, shoulders are"forward" all day do stretches in opposite positions.
bend backwards , put arms behind you , pull head back, hold shoulders back
for these to really help- doing them often throughout the day is best.
I do these little posture checks & stretches alot - the more achy I feel the more I do them.
