I just had my 50th birthday a week ago and signed up for AARP. I want my damn discounts!
So, no, not pushing 60 quite yet, just draggin' 50 behind me like a stone..
Sally, I've been thinking about similar things lately (not because of my age..50's the new 30 after all  )..But I haven't been "happy" with my life for quite a while. Now that I'm not working, it's been harder to ignore. When I stopped to think of why (besides the obvious MS thing), I realized the only difference between me now and me 20 years ago is I don't have a dream for my future. I've pencilled a few things in, no definate answer yet, but I'm working on it. Taking one day at a time has been a life saver in many ways, but it can be a dream killer, too. We need to look forward and keep challenging ourselves in some way.
I don't know if this resonates with you at all, just wanted to share my thoughts.
