If anyone would like to share their denture dramas, I'd like to read 'em.
I am in day 3 of my upper dentures and I positively HATE them. I am going back today to the denturist to see what he can do. Perhaps it is because my gums are still healing ? I cannot even eat pasta, the plate sort of slurps back to the top of the gums and hurts like the devil (particularly where the "big teeth" were ---there's a big "thingy" of skin left there and once the denture is in, I cannot even suck on a straw without pain. I gag when they move, cannot speak clearly and am dizzy from the lack of food (It has been three weeks today that the teeth were removed ---I've eaten nothing but porridge, and other slop---high salt soups etc.) This is the pits ! Your post has at least give me a glimmer of hope !!
