Scrapblog...it's a horrible wretched company!
2 yrs ago I signed up for scrapblog. In the beginning, they were great, although their website was slower than a snail going uphill in a hurricane.
The Army guys are putting together a shadowbox type of thing for DH2B since he is getting out. So I was asked to find the really cool picture of him standing between the Pope and Pres Bush on the White House stairs. Of course, they need this by 12:00 tomorrow. I pull out my handy dandy external hard drive and plug it in only to remember I moved the old pics to the desktop 6 months ago when I had all of the computers networked together.
Desktop has been sitting unplugged for a few months, so i go hook everything back up to it and plug it in...and my little battery has died and the computer will not boot up. Not a big deal, I will fix it sometime this weekend. In the mean time, I need this picture. I did find the scrapblog page that I made that has this pic on it, but the pic itself is tiny.
I sign into scrapblog. Go in to edit the album and like magic the picture I am looking for appears... HOWEVER, I cannot save the picture. Now how does one get their picture back from scrapblog you ask?
OH, one has to create a new scrapbook page, insert the picture, blow it up to the size they need and then one has to purchase said page back from scrapblog so that they may download it to their computer! It costs XXX credits. So to buy back my own picture, I had to purchase $5.00 worth of credits to use more than half of them on this ONE picture. I am so mad i could spit!
Back when I actually used scrapblog, you could save you pictures AND your scrapbook pages for free to your computer or you had the option of paying them to print it and put it all together in a book for you.
