One resource you might explore is Dr. D. Amen MD. He specializes in Spect scanning and has some books out that
explain the various scans and how they appear when a brain injury occurs.

There are sample scans for various issues in the "gallery" there.

He appears on PBS pledge show commonly too. You might catch his long video that way. On his webpage are sample scans.

I've read one of his books, Change your Brain and Change your Life. He might have some insight for you.
