With a family member who had malignant melanoma, I check my moles religiously. I'm finding myself getting a wee bit nervous. Some may know I went to my doc in March to make sure it was ok to wait to see the dermatologist on the 14th of this month - and he said I should be fine.
I have two moles that changed in size rather quickly since December. They used to be what I call ink-dot in size, but have about tripled in size. I checked them again last night and they are a little bigger. They are still smaller than a pencil's eraser, but I've never had any change this quickly.

I've had quite a few moles removed a small grouping at a time since I was a teen, and none have ever come back truly benign in biopsy.
I am
so trying not to obsess about this since I know most would still consider them too small to be of any immediate concern. I'm just fortunate that I made the appointment before I found these two.
I just pray for peace of mind until I see the doctor.
