That's borderline malpractice... or bad medicine at best.
Go to the ER if you need to. You may find yourself in a detox unit or find some compassion and the ER start titrating you.
I'd call that SOB back and educate him, or show up in his office spasing and shaking and see what his patients think.
That's awful. If he's the one that prescribed it that way, he should have to deal with the consequences. How old is this doctor? Is there a duck on his door ????? -------- QUACK-QUACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
There must be some misunderstanding...
I hope he's not in pain management. If I were you and he didn't agree to titrate me down, I would probably call the medical licensure board in your state and report that practice, when you're able!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Try to keep a log of what is happening to you. Or better yet, get a friend to film you.
I am worried about you. Please let us know how you're doing and what you're doing about it. This is not something you should be dealing with on your own.
