Hoosier, that's just awful ! CF is tough enough, but, ugh, adding crazy prices for drugs. Is it considered an experimental drug ? Why wasn't it covered ?

I understand the whole tiered drug pricing thing, and frankly I agree that insurance should cover generics first, but in this case it doesn't sound like there would be a cheaper alternative. If the poor kid can't clear her secretions, any med should be covered with a doctors note of medical necessity. That's just bs !
