Draggin', I am so sorry you have pneumonia! What are they doing for you? Sometimes it helps to have things like an inhaler or asthma meds to help keep the airways open or less inflamed, even if you don't have asthma.

Are you on an antibiotic?

If sleeping lying flat is a problem, you can sleep in a recliner or chair. I had to do that when I had it. I used a u-shaped pillow to keep my head in place and not stress out those muscles.

If you get any worse, please go in right away. And it does help to have a pulmonologist at times like this. They can check your MIP/MEP or help you in lots of other ways.

I hope you can feel better soon. Please let us know how you're doing.

Annie

If you have any problems breathing in or out, you need to be seen right away. In the ER. I should've gone in when I had my pneumonia, which lasted for 3 weeks. I could barely take a breath in.
