Kathy, Possibly you could try a bite splint, especially at night. They make these so they are OTC now. I have used one for many years with a lot of relief, it has become kind of a baby blanket for me. I hope you find a solution soon, a body can only take so much soft food!! Best wishes, Lisa

Thanks for your posts..I have actually damaged my back tooth I think squeezing my teeth at night..Yea, soft foods ..really can't stretch too far but just the thought of hard chow..just turns my thoughts to no way..not yet..I am cold turkey RSD, not able to take any meds so its not meds, but thank you....I have addressed this before ... my x-ray shows a halo in the nerve root in my jaw..but lately..it plans hurts awful...last month Dr.S said I have inflammation on that side of my face.. MLS..it hurts huh?? Dang RSD.. Lisa, I think I will look into the bite splint....
