Maybe something got scrambled or deleted recently...and now the system is letting you know this file is missing...

It might have happened when the computer was worked on recently.

you can find info on stopping the pop up also if you don't want to install the controller. or if it keeps popping up.

You do have Microsoft/Windows updates enabled - correct??
They usually are released on Tuesdays/Wednesdays and should be set to automatically install for you.

Well, this morning, when I turned on the computer, it CAME UP AGAIN. So I just clicked next, and it began doing SOMETHING, all the little green thingees going from left to right, so it installing SOMETHING.

Then it finished and up popped this little message

"unable to install modem".

NOT IF MY MODEM IS NOT INSTALLED, HOW ON EARTH AM I GETTING ON THE INTERNET!!!!

Explain THIS ... I dare ya!!
