Yes, exactly right. I have given examples of this when debating optimum levels of supplements. There are many well known examples. A shot of whisky is very pleasant. Drink the bottle and it will kill you. Warforin is a heart medication, in larger quantities, it is a rat poison. Salt is another, a small amount is very necessary, the Romans called it salarium, (salary). Take a very large dose and it is fatal.

If you remember, I tried going to 4,000mg of curcumin for a period. I did not see any advantage and felt I was above the optimum dose. I cut back to 1,000mg and felt this was nearer the optimum.
